Senate Bill 4, sponsored by Sen. Marie Pinkney and Rep. Melissa Minor-Brown, aims to eliminate systemic barriers that prevent those recently released from prison from successfully rejoining society. Over 10,000 Delawareans are subject to the extreme obstacles that the state’s current probation system presents. Achieving the basic stability of safe housing and a steady job are often insurmountable challenges for those who have been released from Delaware’s prisons.
The 2023 legislative session is drawing to a close and we need your help ensuring SB 4 makes it to the Governor's desk. Join us on Tuesday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Legislative Hall in Dover to engage in conversations with elected officials about Delaware's need for probation reform NOW.
To participate in legislator meetings beginning at 9 a.m., you must register in advance and attend a VIRTUAL training session.
- Virtual training session: Thursday, June 1, 6 p.m. VIRTUAL via Zoom
