Whether you're new to organizing or looking to sharpen your skills, our Activist Training Series will help you build confidence, connect with others, and take action.
Join us for the first part of our Activist Training Series, Advocacy 101, to learn how local advocacy can help expand protections in our state, and how you can be a part of our affirmative agenda to advance civil liberties for all Delawareans. This hands-on training will allow you to learn more about ongoing issue campaigns like probation reform, police reform, immigrants' rights, and voting rights.
You will learn the basics of advocacy, how Delaware's legislative process works, and effective strategies for engaging elected officials through community-based approaches. The training will include interactive components, such as role-play, and opportunities to build connections with fellow advocates. Upon completion, you will be prepared to take meaningful action — whether through contacting elected officials, sharing personal stories, or supporting ACLU-DE campaigns.
