On Wednesday, June 18, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a devastating decision in U.S. v. Skrmetti, ruling to block access to potentially life-saving medical care that serves as the foundation of the lives transgender people lead.
The Court’s ruling against trans youth, their families their doctors, is yet another stain on this Court’s trust in the public eye. Ruling against transgender people’s inclusion in the US Constitution allows the government to impose catastrophic harms on a community of people just trying to live their lives.
Join us this Saturday, June 21 from 1 – 2:30 p.m. for a virtual community gathering as we come together in solidarity and reaffirm what we know to be true – trans people belong in Delaware. Learn more about the harmful decision, the implications for gender-affirming care in Delaware, and the next steps to stay involved in our fight for a better future for trans people across the country.
