Bio

Jac joined the ACLU of Delaware team in March 2026. They grew up in Newark, DE and earned their bachelor's degrees in English and communications and their master's degree in communications from the University of Delaware.

Jac volunteered with Impact Life and atTAcK addiction at the Behavioral Health Resource Center in Newark, completed courses related to crisis counseling and peer support through DSAMH, and developed a passion for working with individuals with SUD. They also became highly involved with the Delaware Working Families Party and gained valuable experience in grassroots organizing, community outreach, and campaign strategy.

Jac's personal philosophy is best described as a mix of radical acceptance and revolutionary optimism. They are motivated by a clear vision of an equitable future for the working class, inspired by the successes of universal social programs, and deeply invested in working toward queer liberation, criminal justice and immigration reforms, and protecting people and the environment from the effects of the climate crisis. In their free time, Jac enjoys painting and collaging, standup comedy, hiking, horror films, and meditating with their cats.
