Bio
Ariel Gruswitz earned a J.D. from the University of Maryland Law School and a B.A. from the University of Virginia. In addition to several years practicing law, Ariel’s career has included a focus on science and technology policy, innovation, and economic development. She is currently Associate State Director of the Delaware Small Business Development Center, based at the University of Delaware.
Ariel joined the ACLU DE board in 2020 to address the increasing challenges to basic principles of constitutional law in the U.S. Ariel served as President of the board from 2023 to 2026, when she became Vice President. She lives with her husband and two children in the Village of Ardencroft, Delaware.
