On September 5, 2021, Delaware Attorney General Kathleen Jennings informed two community community activists of the Delaware Department of Justice’s (DOJ) intent to institute proceedings against their protesting activities. We stepped in to help.

Cruel and unusual punishment is blatantly unconstitutional – especially when combining prolonged solitary confinement with a mental illness. We're fighting this third-circuit case to bring justice for the late Angelo Clark, and to bring an end to this cruel practice.

With the current ballot return deadline a substantial number of voters may have their ballots disqualified for arriving too late, or they may have to choose between their health and their right to vote. So we're suing to protect your right to cast a ballot by mail in the General Election.

This is a habeas corpus petition challenging the state sentence of a man convicted of drug crimes because the court used evidence at the sentencing that was not subject to adversarial dispute and did not meet the requisite threshold of proof.

In late 2015, we learned through our client Jonathan Rudenberg's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request that the Delaware State Police had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to purchase devices that spy on cell phones. DSP didn't want to tell us about that technology. So we sued.

In 2012, several Delaware prisoners who had been held in prison beyond the end of their sentences filed a class action suit against senior Department of Correction officials to obtain compensation and a court order requiring DOC to fix its broken release system.
