A Virtual Conversation on Voting Rights

May 14, 2021 @ 6:45 pm

Last year, the ACLU of Delaware and allies across the nation fought against dangerous voter suppression and intimidation in order to protect everyone’s right to vote. In Delaware, we successfully advocated for every voter to have the freedom to cast a ballot by mail during the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, we plan to make those progressive voting access expansions permanent, while other states across the nation seek to curtail voters’ rights.

To hear from National ACLU’s Dale Ho on those national challenges, and ACLU-DE staff attorney Dwayne Bensing about our local successes, purchase your ticket today for the Virtual Conversation on Voting Rights.

In great appreciation for all of his contributions to voting rights, we will also be honoring David Fry, Esq. partner at Shaw Keller, LLP during this special event. During the 2020 election season, David was intimately involved in ACLU-DE litigation against the Delaware Department of Elections to count absentee and vote by mail ballots if they were mailed timely but received by mail after Election Day.

Amicus Society members in good standing* attend for free plus one guest. Please contact mbryson@aclu-de.org to claim your two free tickets.
