State of the Vote: Educational Forum and Activist Training

Delaware is an outlier when it comes to voting rights.

Delaware is one of the least accessible states to vote in. We cannot sit idly by while Delaware continues to fall to the back of the pack in access to the ballot.

Join Women's March Sussex Delaware and the ACLU of Delaware in-person or online to learn more about key voting rights legislation that will ensure Delaware becomes a beacon of democracy and strong voter engagement.

Participants will also learn the basics of advocacy, how Delaware's legislative process works, and effective strategies for engaging elected officials through community-based approaches. Upon completion you will be prepared to take meaningful action — whether through contacting elected officials, sharing personal stories, or participating in the upcoming ACLU-DE Voting Rights Lobby Day on Tuesday, April 21.
