Do you have an interest in improving Delaware's criminal justice reform? Are you looking to get involved, or more informed? If so, The Sussex County ACLU Smart Justice Chapter is for you!

Join us in celebration of Transgender Awareness Month for a public discussion of a landmark LGBTQ+ case, the current state of LGBTQ+ rights, and the launch of a new Know Your Rights resource.

This workshop will provide information about Delaware's expungement laws, the different record sealing processes available, and Clean Slate DE's advocacy priorities.

Each year, we remember Gerry Kandler, former president of ACLU Delaware, and honor the work of members of the community who exemplify his tireless commitment to the defense of all Delawareans’ civil liberties.

Help us raise awareness and plan for action and solutions through presentations, panel discussions, and community provider resources.

Join us for a 2022 History Book Festival author presentation featuring Kim Kelly, author of "Fight Like Hell: The Untold History of American Labor." Kelly will be in conversation with D. Chanele Moore, Associate Professor of Sociology at UD.
