The Liberty Medal was established in 1988 to commemorate the bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution. Given annually, the medal honors men and women of courage and conviction who strive to secure the blessings of liberty to people around the globe.

This potluck dinner gives us the opportunity to meet our Muslim neighbors and to offer them our friendship. All ages and religious backgrounds (or nor religion at all) are invited to come together around a shared meal.

The Pacem in Terris Children’s Peace Art Exhibition is an opportunity for all of us to learn from our younger citizens what the world should be like. What does a peaceful world look like? What should us older citizens be working towards?

Parents will be able to network with other families that are going through similar experiences while raising a transgender or non-gender conforming child. The goal of the group is to provide parents a safe space where they can discuss what issues are important to them.

Caleb Smith was part of a team of Yale scholars who recently discovered and authenticated the earliest known prison memoir by an African American writer. Smith will discuss his role bringing to light Austin Reed's The Life and the Adventures of a Haunted Convict.
