Smart Justice
We aim to cut the prison population by half and challenge the racial bias in the system. Delaware continues to have one of the highest incarceration rates in the northeast corridor—higher than Maryland, New Jersey, New York and other states on the east coast. Help us end the era of mass incarceration means dismantling the tough-on-crime approach and racial bias that has come to define criminal justice.
