This film is about the arithmetic of climate change. It's inspired by 350.org cofounder Bill McKibben's seminal article, "Global Warming's Terrifying New Math."

The United States routinely holds children in total isolation for weeks or months at a time. The practice hides behind many mild-sounding names – seclusion, segregation, time out, protective custody, room restriction – that mask its widespread use and harmful effects on children.

The film follows unlikely allies on opposite ends of the political spectrum through their trials of conscience, heartbreak, and rejection, as they bravely attempt to make others consider America's gun culture through a moral lens.
