Policing in Wilmington: A Community Conversation, June 18 5-7pm

Policing in Wilmington: A Community Conversation

Join your community members to discuss policing issues in Wilmington. Delaware's policing systems should keep communities safe, treat people fairly, and use resources wisely in order to build and maintain trust with the community. The first step to a better system is acknowledging the issues. We're holding a listening session to hear directly from the people of Wilmington about the issues they have faced and the change they wish to see in their city. This event will also include a Know Your Rights presentation to make sure Delawareans are informed about the rights and protections they have when interacting with the police. Make your voice heard and learn more about your constitutional rights from civil rights advocates in Delaware!
