Update: HB 58 has been stricken from the General Assembly

After we sent a letter to legislators asking them to consider a repeal of the panhandling statute rather than passing House Bill 58, the panhandling bill, they struck that bill from the list of bills under consideration and one of the bill cosponsors has shown support for exploring other options.
