We firmly believe that access to the ballot is a critical part of democracy and are deeply concerned with the potential impact of this ongoing litigation.

We cannot sit idly by while Delaware continues to fall to the back of the pack in access to the ballot. This is why the ACLU of Delaware will be announcing a long-term campaign to expand voting rights.

It's clear that Delawareans believe it’s past time for our start to eliminate systemic barriers that prevent those recently released from prison from successful reentry into our communities and that SS 1 for SB 4 is the way to achieve that. 

Giving parents access to opportunities like the Education Equity Ambassador program is not only essential for student success but also for the success of our communities.

January 22 marks what would have been the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court decision that granted the right to an abortion; however, the conversation takes a different turn on this anniversary. Join us in calling on our legislators to support and fund HS 1 for HB 110.
