The Delaware Voting Rights Coalition (DVRC) is urging voters who cast a ballot early or on Election Day in the September 10, 2024, primary election to be aware of an issue with political parties on some voters’ registrations.

Today, June 28, the Delaware Supreme Court reversed a decision of the Delaware Superior Court that had found Delaware's early and permanent absentee voting laws unconstitutional. 

The Delaware House of Representatives has failed to pass the first leg of an amendment to Delaware’s constitution which would allow for no-excuse absentee voting, protect ‘permanent absentee voters’, and ensure early in-person voting in future elections. 

The ACLU of Delaware and other voting rights launched a long-term campaign focused on delivering a series of critical democracy reforms in the First State.

The ACLU of Delaware, American Civil Liberties Union, Shaw Keller LLP, and Proskauer Rose LLP filed a lawsuit challenging Delaware’s failure to provide eligible incarcerated voters any constitutionally guaranteed method of voting, which violates their First and Fourteenth Amendment rights guaranteed

The Delaware Voting Rights Coalition is increasing voter education efforts ahead of the 2023 School Board Elections on Tuesday, May 9. DVRC’s public education campaign includes a print and digital version of the school board voter guide, available in both English and Spanish.
