Christina Hill- Johnson

Christina Hill- Johnson

Christina Hill- Johnson is a finance and treasury professional with over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. She has worked extensively in cash management, operational efficiency, risk management, and internal controls across both in private, public and nonprofit sectors. Christina holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Management degree from Goldey-Beacom College. Outside of her career, Christina is a foster mom, a huge Harry Potter fan, and an advocate for equity, inclusion, and family-centered community support.

Gelina Dames

Gelina Dames

Gelina Dames is a social impact strategist and storyteller committed to advancing equity through advocacy, community engagement, and creative expression. As the founder of Dames Consulting, LLC, she supports mission-driven organizations in designing culturally grounded strategies that promote justice and sustainability. Gelina brings experience in nonprofit communications, grassroots organizing, and public interest work—most recently as Marketing and Communications Associate at Shelterforce, a leading publication on housing justice. A proud immigrant and advocate for marginalized communities, she is passionate about protecting civil liberties and expanding access to opportunity across Delaware.

Gerald Stratford

Gerald Stratford

Gerald Stratford is a justice advocate with deep experience supporting individuals impacted by the legal system and advocating for communities affected by systemic inequities in Delaware. In his current role, he works directly with clients and their attorneys, providing support with reentry planning, mitigation strategy, and access to essential services such as housing, employment, and mental health care. A Delaware Public Allies alum, Gerald has also served in nonprofit leadership roles focused on community empowerment and climate justice. His work is rooted in a trauma-informed, people-first approach that uplifts the dignity, rights, and lived experiences of marginalized communities. He brings to the ACLU-DE board a commitment to equity, civil rights, and building systems that are accountable, humane, and just.

John Bahnsen

John Bahnsen

John holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Scranton, where he also earned a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Philosophy. He currently works in Compliance at Sarepta Therapeutics, a gene therapy company dedicated to advancing therapies for rare, neuromuscular diseases. John currently resides in Dover, Delaware, with his husband and two dogs. He is passionate about protecting the right to vote, and believes equal access to a quality education is fundamental to a healthy society.
