Mariyam Asadova joins the ACLU of Delaware as the new digital media and communications intern. She will be creating and posting content for social media, as well as designing graphics for the website and various digital accounts.
Mariyam is passionate about helping and protecting minorities and their rights. She worked and volunteered abroad in protecting LGBTQIA+ community and victims of domestic violence. She also worked with feminist organizations in their mission to empower women in developing countries. Mariyam is eager to work with ACLU-DE’s communications team in raising awareness of issues faced by people in Delaware, working towards solutions, and building a community of people advocating for positive change.
