Whether you're new to organizing or looking to sharpen your skills, our Activist Training Series will help you build confidence, connect with others, and take action.
Join us for the second part of our Activist Training Series, Holding Elected Officials Accountable, to learn how local advocacy can help expand protections in our state, and how you can be a part of our affirmative agenda to advance civil liberties for all Delawareans. This hands-on training will allow you to learn more about ongoing issue campaigns like probation reform, police reform, immigrants' rights, and voting rights.
This training will help you gain the skills to effectively hold legislators accountable through tactics such as bird-dogging. You will learn how to plan as a team, craft concise questions that demand clear commitments, and capture responses on record. Through activities like role play and best practice exercises, you will gain hands-on experience in engaging elected officials, amplifying ACLU-DE issues, and ensuring community voices are heard.
