History of LEOBOR

December 1, 2021 @ 6:00 pm

In order to understand where we are, we have to understand how we got here.

Our current policing systems in Delaware are in dire need of reform. But in order to understand where we are, we have to understand how we got here. That’s why we’re teaming up with NAACP - Newark for a virtual conversation about the history of the Law Enforcement Officers’ Bill of Rights (LEOBOR).

Presenters and Panelists include:

  • Cyndie Romer, NAACP - Newark;
  • Keandra McDole, Smart Justice ambassador;
  • Misty Seemans, assistant public defender, Delaware Public Defender’s Office; and
  • Nick Beard, policy coordinator, Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

Join us in learning from our history – and how our history demonstrates the need for LEOBOR reform NOW.

Admission is free.
This event will be virtual via Zoom and livestreamed on our Facebook page. Registration is required to receive the Zoom attendee link. Zoom event will be recorded.
