In the wake of continued police brutality and misconduct, we are reaffirming our commitment to advocate for meaningful action to increase accountability and transparency in policing. An important part of this fight is ensuring that our communities are equipped with the channels and resources to share their stories. That’s why we’re going door-to-door– can we count on your support?
On Saturday, February 11 from 1-3 p.m., we will be canvassing the Sparrow Run and Wellington Woods neighborhoods to learn about community members' experiences with police. Please arrive at the Greater Newark Boys and Girls Club at 12:45 p.m.
We need your help getting Delawareans mobilized around one of the most important issues facing our communities: the need for police reform.
This canvassing effort is a three-part series in New Castle County. Join us for one, two, or three canvasses. Visit aclu-de.org/events for more information.
If you have questions about this event or future canvasses, please contact ACLU-DE Paralegal, Jasmine Minhas, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
