Ashley Biden, Executive Director of the Delaware Center for Justice, is the first speaker in the "100 years of Peace and Justice" Speaker Series. This talk will be Tuesday evening, January 31 at 7:00 pm at Theater N in downtown Wilmington.

Other speakers in the monthly series include George Lakey, whose latest book, Viking Economics is on the health, education and social welfare accomplishments of the Scandinavian countries-- and the rationale for implementing these programs here in the U.S. Other speakers include Bill Frelick, director of Human Rights Watch's refugee program, Rainer Braun, a German peace activist, David Hartsough, whose latest book is Waging Peace, John Bonifaz, a constitutional attorney and President of Free Speech for People, a national campaign to challenge unchecked corporate power and restore democracy to the people (he is also a winner of the MacArthur “Genius Award” and a past Intern at Pacem in Terris). There are a few additional surprises in the works.
