VICTORY! We teamed up with ACLU-OH to help protect abortion rights.

In every election since Roe was overturned, voters have cast their ballots to protect abortion rights — and Election Day in Ohio was no different. On Tuesday, Ohioans voted overwhelmingly in support of Issue 1, a state constitutional amendment to enshrine the right to make their own decisions about pregnancy, including miscarriage, birth control, and abortion care, in state law for generations to come.

We’re proud to have had staff members on the ground to help get out the vote! Vonderlear Smack and Andrew Bernstein traveled to the Buckeye State to help the ACLU Ohio team knock on doors, phonebank, and ensure Ohio voters were able to cast their ballots confidently.
