The Coalition for Smart Justice is a statewide coalition of organizations and individuals who take collective action to advocate for a criminal justice system that fosters public safety by reducing mass incarceration, recidivism, and racial disparities in the system.
We put in the work and we succeeded–now it’s time to celebrate!
Please join us for a celebration of the passage of 11 criminal justice bills in 2019! This event will give us an opportunity to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished so far, as well as the work we have left to do.
On July 12th, Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Detention Camps, will bring thousands of Americans to detention camps across the country, into the streets and into their own front yards, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees.
